This 5 hour (.50 RID PPO/PS & BEI Ethics CEUs) course is being offered as an online asynchronous course that you take at your own pace. This course will delve into the science of Social Justice and will guide you on a mindfulness retreat where you will practice activities such as journaling and reflecting, accessing your emotions/feelings, being in nature to access greater awareness of yourself, creativity as a tool for self-expression, and movement. The better we know ourselves, the more we can “know the people in our lives”. Our internal lives hold many keys to this knowing. This mindfulness retreat will offer you an opportunity to get to know yourselves more, which in turn will hopefully lead you to “knowing others more fully”. As people who work in the field of Social Justice, this course aims to ground you in your work as you come to know yourself better.
